In Dizzywood, you can do many fun things, from doing missions (in the past called events) which are like little plots about what is happening in the world – playing games like Jumper, Combo Drop, Flight, or the other many games – to chatting with the people you make friends with.

The Chat feature on Dizzywood is very safe. They block any numbers you type (example: 1, 2, 3, 27), so you can’t say how old you are what your phone number is; you can’t even type out the word (example: one, two, three, twenty seven). Cussing, bad language, and other words are blocked as well. Be careful what you say!

The rules on Dizzywood are as follows:

No fighting or bullying
No giving out or asking for personal information
No dating

No flooding or spamming
No cheating

There are live Moderators online at all times, watching over people and making sure no one breaks the rules. If a moderator thinks that what you and another person are doing/saying may be a sign of online dating, or breaking rules in some other way, you can get ban or muted.

Muting usually only lasts for 3 minutes, but depending on what you did against the rules, you can be muted for up to an hour. After that, you are ban. When you get ban, it can be anywhere from one hour to forever, depending on what you did against the rules.

You can be muted multiple times without getting ban. Mutings do not add up, they are just temporary stages where you can not talk or interact with other users. When you get ban, you are temporarily (or permanently) kicked from the site. You can’t log out, log in, anything.

Sometimes you will be disconnected. This can be caused by your internet connection failing, dizzywood servers getting too crowded, or your computer just decided it didn’t want to be connected any more. When you are disconnected, you are taken to the sign in page. When you try t log in again, it says you are still logged on. Just wait about 5 minutes for their servers to realize you were disconnected, and it’ll let you log back in.

Dizzywood is full of adventure! As you explore the world, you will meet different characters (example: Presto the Racoon, Timothy Hay the Rabbit). These characters will sometimes ask you to help them out, or give you tips on the game. They are features in Missions, where you must work with them to accomplish a goal, talk to them to get closer to completing something, or help them out.

Missions are the little plots that happen Thursday through Sunday. You can do any of the events until the following Thursday, when new ones will be launched. (Missions used to be called Events) Occasionally, there will be mini-missions to do, like completing a certain level of a game, or finding a certain item. Missions award prizes once completed; they can be anything from furniture for your room, clothes for your Dizzy (your avatar — Dizzian), coins, or Critters (the Dizzywood pets)!

Avatar:

Every Dizzian gets an avatar to dress and walk around as! At first, there is a very little selection of things to customize with. After a while, you will find you have more clothes than you know what to do with! You can get clothes from doing Missions, buying them, winning them from hidden places, or accomplishing certain goals. You can also customize your body; skin tone, eye shape/color, hair (which can be styled or streaked by other players with the style or streaking power), mouth, nose, everything.

Room:

Every Dizzian also gets their own area to customize! This is your room. You can buy different room styles (beach, wagon, Skytown, indoor room) and furniture to design your space exactly how you like it. There are hundreds of items to buy, win, or find! You can use Magic Size or Magic Move to place and size your furniture however you want. Friends can also visit your room by clicking on the link on your character card (which appears when you click someone’s name on the Who’s Here list or your Buddies List) or from walking over your Visitors Portal, which you can drop anywhere, or keep in your backpack. You can lock your room too, if you don’t want any visitors to see that you are remodeling, or just want to be alone.

Friends:

You can make many friends from around the world in Dizzywood’s safe chat environment. Add them to your buddy list, and find them whenever they’re on. (Note: On your buddy list, people shown in green are on or have been on recently, and ones shown in white haven’t been on lately.) You and your friends can work together to find items needed for missions, play together, help each other do certain activities, or just chat. Again, Dizzywood is completely safe, and blocks any harmful language or personal information your child (or you) might share.
