The game was developed by X1 Software and AWAR on Bohemia Interactive's Real Virtuality engine. It was released May 25, 2012 for Microsoft Windows.

Gameplay

Iron Front: Liberation 1944 is set in Southern Poland during Soviet summer offensive. The single player campaign can be played from either German or Soviet perspective. The Soviet campaign focuses on breaking through enemy's defenses. On the German side, the mission is to slow down the advance of the Soviet army. Campaigns start with infantry action but later on the player gets to control tanks and planes. These include for example Panzerkampfwagen IV, Königstiger, IS-2, Focke Wulf 190, Stuka and Petlyakov PE-2.

Hi, I've never attempted this so hoping some of you might point me to a straightforward tutorial. I've got the Iron Front: liberation 1944 standalone mod along with D DAY DLC and also vanilla ARMA 3.I've also noticed Iron Front is available as a mod on arma3. Can anyone explain what's going on with these?Also as a side question I noticed more and more ww2 models popping up on the steam workshop page but none of them seem to be any cohesive MOD. Are there any other mods currently being worked on or is Iron front pretty much the only bet right now?many thanks!.
